do you have a british passport?have you studied there?
I am currently looking into schooling there, It seems that in order to get the UK rates even with a passport you need to have been a permanent resident for 3 years...
Does anyone know if this is true and where I can get the info I need for all of this.... |

i've been looking into glasgow and it seems to me that for them you need to prove that you have the funds to attend the school for the alotted time plus the money to live there, so either prove you have the money, or have student loans coming.
the school websites should give you the information or an email address for their registrar offices, and they're pretty good at responding. |

Guess you don't have any relatives there eh? If you do you can apply for dual citizenship. That's what I did, so if I ever need to go to school I can and I don't need to have lived there.
If you can pull off being a guy for a while, you can take my identity. haha |

Court ive been thinking about the exact same thing. I looked into a ancestor visa. I believe you can obtain with in 5 years. You first ofcorse are aloud to work there, but you must go back and forth at least twice (thats it) to than get your citizenship.
As for being a student, it might be cheaper to do a student exchange. I met one girl from UBC taking law in Australia. She did it through some program and because she traded with an Aussie student, I think neither of them had to pay for the inter nation fees? But you can only do this if you find someone to trade with. |

actually yeah, you'd probably need to become a permanent resident. my sister is over there right now, i'll see if she knows.
might find something on here too: Study In Britain & Ireland - Scholarships |

my sister has a british passport as well and she is currently studying at the university of stratclyde in glascow. the fee's are the same but i think it has to do with the exchange program she has entered more then anything else. she says studying there is interesting, and apparently not as difficult as university here. |
