Never done it, myself, but I know about the concept of acid-staining.
You can create different hues of stain into the concrete using different solutions. With some creative tape-work, you could design some pretty intricate detail into your floor. Just keep in mind that when you put your clear-coat finish over top of it (and you WILL want to do this, to keep dust down), the colours will darken. Have fun! Frosty (has carpet and hardwood) |

definately get some who's done it before to finish it for you. The pouring's easy, but if working with concrete finishers has taught me anything, it's that the concrete is as touchy as the finishers themselves. really easy to screw up....
