they decided to stop throwing massives because they realized after iMix that there wasn't any money to be made at plaza parties anymore. ive heard that they still throw smaller illegal events and they still have a clubnight.

its jay c that owns exert productions, and yeah they did throw some dope parties.

exert parties i found were the ultimate no vibe parties. And I found that there's a shitload more nammers at exert parties than say twisted parties.

These days Jay C is doing Red Fridays at the Urban Well and Marky Marky has just been spinning. While they haven't done any solo gigs in a while they have helped throw 2 parties recently and are helping with a new years gig. Also Marky Mark is a resident at WFB Fridays (see my signature).

But i agree that there was sometimes a weird vibe at there parties:)

Yeah Exert has thrown some pretty wicked parties from Nasty series to NYE02 Bash...Imix 2 01 was good too! :)

I had fun at Exert Partys...despite some of the bad events that happened at some of them.

And Club Viva is still Friday Nights.

a massive is a massive is a massive.

There's no real difference. It's hard to find any kind of "vibe" at any big party, no matter who puts it on. The same goes for the fact that they are also pretty brutal gong shows for everyone.

Once again. i would like to say.. MORE COLLISEUM PARTIES!!..
exert should try making $$$$$$$$ off the colliseum. IF they do ever decide to throw another massive.

colliseum parties are really really expensive to throw. usally around 1/4 million dollars. and the way things are now, its unlikely a promoter would ever make their money back off a party liek that.

they would need to sell close to cap to make money about 4000 people.

it would be awesome if there were enough ravers left in this town to throw a PNE party, the PNE when its at cap has an awesome vibe.
