Game 3 Dux @ Nux!!!!!!!!!! Tonight

I believe the game is on at 5pm tonight. Will vancouver ride off there OT win from last game?? Or will Aneheim put in the extra effort to shut them down at home? Im excited about this series, canucks are getting way more offensive opportunities than they did in round 1. If vancouver scores first then it should be a low scoring game.

2-1 van in regulation, finally a goal from the sedin line????

3-2 Canucks in a very close game.

I really want to see the powerplay get at least a goal or some solid chances.

our Pk has been pretty good, but Vancouver really has to come up with some PP goals. Capitalize on the ducks mistakes and the game is ours!!!!!

are you on drugs?

i fell asleep through the first game but in the 2nd the ducks were walking all over us on the pp.. that aspect really needs to be stepped up. but they did a good job of minimizing the penalties.

not any more but......

The first game was a write off, but they played much more disciplined in game 2. The officating has been a little skechty and there has been quite a few bunk calls, but if you look past those calls they are doing pretty good.

We have to learn how to get the puck onto THEIR side of the blue line before we can start worrying about goals. The game is in our end far too much for our lacking defensive skills. Hopefully Yannick will change that though.

It would also be nice if they'd put some effort into their passes. You can't all be the Sedins, Vancouver. Blind cycling only works if you've been playing hockey together since you could walk. Quit passing to empty ice and start putting some speed on that puck.

All and all though, I think that last goal was brilliant and hopefully enough of a morale boost to throw the Nucks into gear for these next 3+ games.

2-1 Nucks

Oh.. and I LOVED rooting for the Nucks in a Calgary bar on Wednesday. The sneers, the glares, the sweet smell of accepted defeat.

Finally a Power Play goal. Let alone by Naslund.

Maybe the Canucks will get the idea that it may be wiser to dump and chase the puck in the corner.

Rather than be all fancy only to beat one defender and lose the puck.

If Canucks are wanting to start winning these games, I suggest they focus more attention on the power play! Serioudly, a 5-on-3, and they STILL can't put the freaking puck in the net. If only we had players who could capitalize on at least 2 PP goals a game. That statistic would increase the probability of the Canucks adding another 'W' in the 'Win' column.

btw...GO NASLUND GO!!!!

About the 5 on 3. You can't exactly score a goal if you can't even get setup in the oppositions side of the blue line. The Canucks couldn't even break through the blue line. With 4 Canucks players against one anaheim forward and 2 defensemen..... common.

Our powerplay is pathetic rite now, and it actually seems to hurt our momentum. No joke its gotta be fixed. Especially when we are getting scored on the oppositions powerplay.

Boy oh boy was that a great game... cosigned with skitzo, you can't get better seats then right behind the attacking goalie, so many checks into the boards and beautiful goals. Regardless of them losing it was a solid game of hockey.
