If I held a free party would you come?

So about 7 years ago, in Squamish there were these magical summer full moon parties... house music, in the forest, beside a river.... just magical.... haven't been to a party like this in ages, so, I'm thinking of throwing one at the end of summer. My question to you is, would you come to a party like this even if there weren't any crazy headliners or anything?? (There will be some local talent and some unheard-of-before talent) It's free, it's just before Squamish on the sea-to-sky, there's room for camping, and it'll only happen if the weather's nice..

Just a few things though.

It may have seemed like a good idea to post this, I mean honnestly who's going to say "what? Free party? Fuck that!"

But free parties happening during the summer are a fact of life. So there really isn't a point to post this till you got some info.

Because right now your basically saying, in the future, in a field far away my friends are going to dj and do drugs.

Infested by bears thanks to irresponsible ravers/partiers not cleaning up after themselves when throwing their parties. Rangers were blocking off the roads last year due to this issue.

Speaking of which, whatever happened to the old outdoor rave creed of taking out what you took in? Summer Break last year was fucking disgusting with all the Apex garbage strewn about - i thought these raves had dedicated cleanup crews? Or is that another cost that gets cut these days along with DJ fees?

The outdoor rave crowd of fun loving intelligent people has been replaced with tweakers who are as disposable as the people throwing a lot of these fly by night events.

yeah, this party is somewhere about an hour closer to vancouver, like i said, before Squamish on the sea to sky..... i don't have any other info to post, because this isn't confirmed... i just want to know if it will be worth spending some money on a party like this, because if it's just like 30 of my friends, then it won't really be worth it....

where? at porteau cove? norton lake would be too far.

i'm not gonna say exaclty where it is gonna be yet, but no, it's not porteau cove..... it's close to squamish, takes about 45 mins to get to from downtown vancouver, and it's NOT mile 36, it's WAY closer

alice lake would be nice, but a little too heatscore for my liking... at my spot there's lots of sand, two rivers merging, lots of side-areas for tents or campfires or whatever, and plenty of parking
