TIME HAS NO IMPORTANCE WHEN USING THE TWO. THE ONLY TIME AFFECT IS USED AS A NOUN IS WHEN ITS USED TO DESCRIBE AN EMOTION OR FEELING.
THAN IS MAINLY USED AS A CONJUNCTION (COMPARISONS) WHEREAS THEN IS AN ADVERB. ONCE AGAIN TIME DOESN'T DIFFERENTIATE ANYTHING LERN ENGLISH LOL |

There.
Their. They're. Where. Wear. We're. Then. Than. Kind of. Would have/ would've. I thought this board was mostly populated by english-speaking people of at least high school status.... So, why is there such a huge amount of grammatical and syntax errors in peoples' posts? And, FUCK you 7333T's who are to "COOL", or downright lazy to enunciate what you are actually trying to express to the rest of us! Make a succinct, legible statement, or face ridicule from misunderstandings due to your inability to express yourself, clearly to others in a written format. Frosty (really _DOES_ want to understand another's point of view) |

Good karma for the balls, but...

P.S. I did not edit the original post, just added some 'markers' here and there... P.P.S. This is a forum. Some level of 'free-form' English is to be expected. But it's damn painful reading some posts, many coming from non-ESL people. I'd say errors like those quoted here are fine - but how about we all try to spell correctly. Firefox has a built-in spell checker. Great idea, huh? Last edited by .LxT; Jun 14, 07 at 02:29 PM. |
