Anyone know how to get emails past people's junk mail?
Hey guys,
Recently I've been noticing that our weekly emails for our business are ending up automatically in people's junk mail. Does anyone have any idea how we can bypass these junk mail filters? These are customers of ours that signed up for and want to recieve our emails. I've heard about something called the "Brymian Index" which is the formula that the email client filters use to decided weather an email is spam or not. Anyone have any thoughts or ideas? Looking forward to your replies! ~Sean |

If you can get past hotmails spam filters, your emails should be getting received by most companies.
SPF: Project Overview <- implement this I would recommend you have your clients forward you back some of the emails and look in the headers for why it was blocked. Some spam filters tell you exactly why it's blocked. Also if you're in http://www.spamhaus.org/'s lists, request to get removed. |

Most junk filters employ Bayesian filtering in addition to maintaining lists of "known culprits" online. Your clients would do well to add your e-mail address to their whitelist. Also, SPFs are a good idea if your address is different from your domain or from your hostname etc [I can fake mails from [email protected] but it will be harder to fake the fact that they're not coming from the fnk.ca mailserver and many spam filters look at that and give you a good rating]
There's the general recommendations: proper English, correct styling, unsubscribe links. |
