But really I think he needs to realize that he has a problem and get help because he can have all the concern in the world but if he doesn't want to sort it out nobody can help him.

Thumbs up for doing the right thing and confronting him about it. There's hell of a lot of people that fall into the cracks of society because none of their friends had the gumption to force them to look at their life. Here's hoping he paid attention.
