......it's only time. And Jim Croce....sings about time in a bottle........but i dont think he was talking about hair (Jim Croce had awesome hair...he's up there with Bob Ross for me)...Anyways....just wait!....Natural locks...are lovley....the wind enjoys it better. Do you really want to add a barbie like addition to the skull?... how about a hat?.....may i intrest you in a plethora of sparkley mullet wigs......David Bowie would be oh so proud. Eh. my opinion on the matter is await....in a week or so..you might be able to stand it a little more.....and if not....id be patient....it'll grow back eventually..no worries!....Besides. though i've never had hair extentions....(but have considered them for dreads)......i would think just the natural you of it all would feel a lot more comfy on earth. gooood luck with them locks missey. :) |

o.k. this thread warranted signing in & posting haha
I have had hair extensions for over a year now. Anyone who says they look nasty... basically you can shove it because nobody has EVER noticed before without me telling them or showing them where the hair is sewn on to the corn row. Allison: The first place I ever got my extensions done was Mohair Studio downtown. Stay the hell away from that place. They charged me like $800. AND they put the corn rows in so tightly that you literally have a head ache for 3 days AND it caused a small patch of hair to actually come OUT. so they suck, dont even waste your time with them. There is a few things you need to consider about hair extensions.. depending on how much you want to spend on the hair it self.. (you pay more it lasts maybe 2-4 months, you pay less, you replace it every 4-6 weeks) and the hair usually costs about 100 for a package that will last you id say 4 months (this is the kind that you have to replace EVERY month) on top of the cost of the actual hair you have to have someone weave the cornrow onto your head and then sew the hair on. if you know someone skilled then hell get them to do it for cheap. but if you have to go to a salon for that then the cheapest place I have found does it for $75 per track (there's usually two) so I pay around 150 every 4-6 weeks. how often you have to get it re-done depends on how fast your hair grows. ok I will spare you the rest of this novel, haha I could tell you a million more things about hair extensions, places, people and all that jazz but by now for I know you've changed your mind. If you want any more info or want to be pointed in the direction of places to buy hair or the salon to put it in.. PM me. /long drawn out post. |

I considered hair extensions after losing 8" of my hair last year. Seeing as my hair only grows 4" per year that's a lot of hair for me. But after looking around I couldn't find any extensions that I thought looked good. I wouldn't mind checking yours out though if they're as nice as you say they are. :) |

Im getting Micro Clip ones. The clips are the same color as your hair, theyre affordable and they look great. On the plus side there is 0 risk of damaging your hair since they just rap around you natural hair and are secured tightly via a metal clip.
Ill let you know how they look if you still dont have your done when i get mine next month. <3 |
