wheres the best place to buy a pS3, dont give me that xbox shit because im not interested, i want to be able to play my PS2 games and my ps2 is in the trash.

should i go to future shop or a gamer place?

The 17% price cut comes days after a company executive denied a change was imminent and will probably increase financial pressure on an already unprofitable division at Sony (SNE). The move could put pressure on Microsoft (MSFT) to cut prices on the Xbox 360, itself plagued by an unusually high number of glitches. It also serves as a reminder that Sony's console—feature-rich as it is—carries too high a price and lacks enough exclusive games to woo buyers from Nintendo's popular Wii. On the eve of the E3 games expo in Santa Monica, Calif., the pricing move is a nod to the increasingly important role independent developers will play in deciding the outcome of the three-way game console battle.

After the introduction of new consoles over the past two holiday shopping seasons, it has become crucial for each company to deliver innovative and exciting games that will entice shoppers to buy its system over another. Sony plans to release more than 400 games from now until the end of March across all its game platforms, though it has yet to offer a breakaway exclusive with the PS3.

fuck that man, the Wii kicks ass. I dont even see why people are comparing the Wii with the PS3 or XBox. Sure its a video game system but they have separated themselves to such an extent they are not even in the same ball park. The Wii is a different type of entertainment.

Both are good, and both have their place. I dont have time for video games in my life right now, so if I was to buy a system Id buy a Wii because its hella fun to just sit down and play a few games. On the otherhand if I was a serious gamer, and liked to spend countless hours infront of the idiot box id be deciding between the X-Box and the Ps3.

the wii seems like more of a kids machine but i just tried it yesterday at my girlfriends sisters place, wow it was real fun. not saying the other machines are not tho.

So far the Wii's most famous game is wii sports. Played it, it was meh. Call me crazy but I like to escape a bit when I play games. Playing fake tenis when there is a tennis court across the street is uh... not for me.
