Being a message board of ravers, like most ravers, there is the need for segregation into "cliques".

There are many cliques that people feel the nessesity to form in the rave scene...

Other examples of cliques: L7, #LX, The Pretentious Elitists etc...

lotsa ppl have crews in a lot of different scenes - for lack of a better word - ex. D12, Who Knew, Murda INC, ATS, etc etc...

person who started this thread, you asked that question way too late! but to simplify it for you.....

sideways: bunch of kids that party alot and will most likly do acid @ parties (i don't think i will anymore,though. i can't dance while i'm on acid!) we are from everywhere in bc, the mainland, vancouver island, and even in the interior! what people don't understand is that we made this up out of the sheer purposes of comedy, and everyone took it seriously, so we played along for a little while, but then thought "fucking with people's head just isn't funny anymore!", so we are stoping it once and for all.

backwards: a parody of the sideways crew made up by our friend konran, which many people acually joined, but we make fun of him all of the time now because of it.

now that u know this, for and new dumbass newbie that askes this question again, you tell them why it is.

Question why do you still quote sidewayz crew and crap under your posts? Never the less this is why the scene is hardcore gay ++ in Vancouver. Im not a newbie iv been partying probobly alot longer then you have. And i have never had to deal with politics in the rave scence kinda sad dont yea think?

the backwardz crew name was created by konrad... who is, i believe part of the sidewayz crew or friends with them or whatever..

majority of people that "joined" the backwardz crew said that they were "backwards" to show their dislike for those who do it sidewayz.

however, i have nothing against the people in the sidewayz crew, just the fact that they do acid and shit... not cool.

yeah...konrad is friends with the sidewayz crew...but...the whole crew thing is a joke and most if not all of us are planning on quitting acid...at least for awhile...I don't need to do drugs at a party...I don't need to do drugs at all but sometimes i enjoy it...lots of people do...I don't go to a party to get high ( i can do that at home) i go to have fun with friends, listen to music and dance!!! And the reason i chose acid was causei have done it before...I've never tried E and still havent decided for sure if i will try it...lots of ppl on here go to partys and do e so why can't i do acid if i want to??? I don't think I'm hot shit and would rather ppl don't try it but i can't stop them!!!
