Tips on the South West Coast? Beaches? etc

Soon I am driving down the South West Coast (Oregon & North Cali) I hear s0o many amazing things about it, but would like to know what are some of the best hot spots since I only have 5 days. Im mostly interested in beaches, camp grounds, and the really amazing scenic areas. I mostly just want to let go and relax and think about nothing.

check out mount shasta.... has an amazing camping ground there...

enjoy!...there is no other beauty that you will find anywhere then the oregon coast.

^ Everyone keeps telling me this... im pretty stoked! However thats ALL I hear... more details please? Or would just driving to where ever be the best bet?
