good camp spots?
So Socool and I have a rare weekend off together and are looking to do some camping this weekend. Haven't really gone on a trip that was't soundwave or shambhala in years - Can anyone recommend a spot that likely won't be hit by the long weekend rush? Lake would be especially nice.

this may help. Me and some friends are heading to Jones Lake for the weekend, from what i have snooped it sounds like it will not be over-run by hooligans. |

10/20 mile bay out near Harrison are good, but you have to go up a long dirt rd to get there. Allouette and Hicks lake both have a couple non-reservable spots but they are both hard to get unless you go up on a thursday or something. Lindeman lake is beautiful and usually has places to camp but its at the end of chilliwack lake rd and you have to hike up a pretty steep hill for about half an hour but its worth it. Stave lake is nice but there are a lot of atv's and dirtbikes there and there isnt a lot of camping space when the water is high. Its a great place if you have a boat. Weaver lake also it non-reservable and the lake is nice but its totally a hick campground to beware. There are pictures of most of these places on my facebook if you want an idea of what you are looking at. :)
