Satellite Radio Owners: XM or Sirius?

I've just recently gotten satellite radio but knew all along that I was going to go with Sirius. I wanted BBC Radio 1 (hello Essential Mix!) and I found that the stations Sirius has seemed to offer more of what I wanted.

What about you guys? Who'd you go with and why?

Funny enough I figured most Sirius listeners would say that. Myself I've hardly ever given the guy a listen. When I used to drive down to Seattle twice a week for work I'd listen during the drive and found that it didn't really do much for me.

I'm still waiting for this suspected merge b/w the two... but I would go with Sirius for now... they seem to have better playlists and channels.

I chose sirius over xm b/c of Howard mainly. Most of the other talk radio is garbage. Sue johansen is cool. The hip hop stations have their moments. I hate the tony toca show but love the exxtended drunk mixxxx as well as lip service. The coffee house is alright. The dance station is fucking terrible. BBC was a big one for me. My sirius radio records, so I record essential mix and shit like that and listen to it at the gym. The one thing that pisses me off about sirius is that I cannot listen live in the gym b/c there is no signal. Also if I drive underneath trees the signal will cut out sometimes.

Shawn I can take a look for my online password. It would enable you to listen to sirius online, it also gives you the whole show breakdown and shit.

I have XM, I like it a lot. Ron & Fez and O&A are really entertaining.
the stations are great, I listen to a wide variety of music. Although I would have liked BB1 :(

Sirius. Howard Stern, Bubba The Love Sponge and better channels are the main reasons behind my decision.
