Hey all, I figured that seeing as how most people are getting off work soon they should know about this..might be a good idea to wait a bit or take the bus
Update: SkyTrain closed at Broadway Station; shuttle trains and buses operating Update: SkyTrain closed at Broadway Station; shuttle trains and buses operating Buses and shuttle trains to take riders between Main and Joyce Staff Reporter, Vancouver Province Published: Thursday, September 20, 2007 TransLink is organizing buses and shuttle trains to take SkyTrain's passengers from Main Street/Science World station to Joyce/Collingwood this afternoon as the Broadway Station is closed due to a death there. The coroner is investigating. No more details on the nature of the incident are available. Trains southbound from Waterfront will turn back at Main Street/Science World station, where a shuttle train will be available to take riders to Joyce/Collingwood station. The shuttle will not stop at Broadway. The same situation applies northbound, where trains from King George will turn back when the reach Joyce/Collingwood. A transfer to the shuttle train will be necessary to continue downtown. Buses are also being organized to get riders between Main Street/Science World and Joyce/Collingwood. The Millennium Line is running only from VCC-Clark to Columbia. With trains not stopping at Broadway Station, customers going from downtown to M-Line stations will have to stay on the train through to Columbia and change trains there. |

That messed me up on my way to work at 10:30 this morning! I can't believe it's still messed.
EDIT: I just read the thread more closely. When I was on the train this morning they called it an electrical problem, I am not actually that insensitive! Last edited by prozac; Sep 20, 07 at 04:16 PM. |
