seriously what's with Manhattan clam chowder? it's not terrible or anything but pales in comparison to it's mighty cousin New England!

i am not a fan of the clam so i voted for neither....

but i would choose a creamy-clam-free soup over a watery-tomato one anyday.

It all depends what sort of mood I'm in.

I enjoy both.

As far as chain restaurants go Earls makes a decent New England.

I've always enjoyed the Manhattan they've served on the BC ferries goes as a quick fix.

I use to only try manhatton style when i was a kid. Now for the most part i love new england style.

tried it a few places in the states that had amazing clam chowder!!
