This weather has got me depressed

I am a summer person.. the weather actually has a really strong effect on my mental state..

my work drive has gone to shit... which is bad since i'm self employed..


I don't feel like doing shit all, but at the same time i feel if i don't go out i'm going to go crazy

options :

1.) Clubbing
2.) Go-carting
3.) Bar
4.) Casino
5.) anyone have any ideas?

just try to stay active!

one thing that makes me appreciate winter a lot more and cures the blues is snowwwwboarding...but def find more active things to do that aren't dependant on the weather like going to the gym, swimming, etc.

^^ TOTALLY agree with ya on the riding, but this period between hot sun (well the 2 weeks that we got of it anyways....global warming my ass) and the fluffy pow sucks. Makes me wish it went from Summer to Winter instantly. ;)

Myra's got it. I started swimming and running again this week, and shit, look at the weather... miserable. Excercise is what boosts my mood too, try it out donkey, maybe it will help.

I experience severe S.A.D. Even if you are mildly effected, it's better to read up on it and understand it. The more you know, the easier it is to make lifestyle changes to help cope. Some things that I try to do:

-use a blue light that imitates sunlight (avail at medical supply stores)
-use tanning beds
-eat well (S.A.D. can cause you to crave carbs or increase your appetite)
-exercise
-get enough sleep
-when it is sunny, get outside or atleast open the blinds
-make sure your workspace/living space is well lit

5htp + b12 and eat something you really like even if that includes going out to eat! go and do something exciting or something that you normally don't do while trying to stay active.

i get like this in sept-jan and i feel like im a totally different person then everyone is used to in the summer. i kind of feel bad but i try and grind it out but i hate it.

I eat out 3 meals a day... it's no longer really fun at all.. just feels like dinner time

yea me too. the hoodie selection is always so much better.
