bowling alleys?

please recommend me your favourite bowling alleys, and why you like them? looking for one closest to downtown, but want to compare vs commodore lanes so out of downtown is good too if it's worth it

The standard when I've gone has been The Zone in Richmond right across from the movie theatres.

varsity ridge bowling down alma in Kits. Although Im biased because my friend works there. Iv had lots of good times there. Their set-up is decent... although don't bowl on the far left lane on the right set of lanes because its slightly effed up.

theres the lanes on commercial across from JJ beans.. its old skool but not bad. The zone would be my favorite for sure. Get their nachos..mmmmm

I love bowling, but it's really one of those seen-one-seen-em-all kinda things.

XCalibers and the aforementioned one on Commercial would be my prime spots to knock over (and back) a few....

there's a bowling alley on 16th and Arbutus next to the long&mcquade, tho the place looks like a backdrop for a slasher flick.

I'm by no means a frequent bowler, but when it's that time my friends and I usually go to Rev's in Burnaby. Not sure why we always go there, but it is easy to get to (skytrainable) and it has a bar.

Glo-ball was a ton of laughs on Commercial (only been once, ages ago).

Nothin' like blacklights, heavy projectiles, and thumpin toonz!

Oddly enough, one of the crew mentioned he was heading down to Commodore lanes, tonight (sat) after work.

I think it's high-time (yes, I meant that) for a Drunken-Bowl!!!

I'm gonna say Commodore (since I live around the corner from it and they serve!).

Sorry gnosis, I've sworn off 5-pin forever.

Xcalibur was awesome... mostly because they had ridiculously cheap drinks and seemed not to care how drunk we got (which was very).

I think it's time for another round... Kenji where you at?? Y'all got two arms now or what?
