why is it that korean/japanese/hong kong movies and tv are so melodramatic?

anyway, there pretty wild anyone got the young and dangerous movies with english subtitles, i wanna watch some cheesey shit.

A lot of foreign cinema is really over the top.

Try sitting down and watching a Brazilian novella sometime.

But in all reality, if you look back at a lot of Shakespearean Tragedies and Comedies you'll be able to draw some very similar correlations.

I am pretty sure all the Gu Wak Jai movies are subbed in english and traditional chinese. I can dig some of them up if u can't find them
