I'm getting ready for Christmas

I finally took out all my trash and recycling, and am cleaning up the apartment.

I did some minor Christmas decorating.

and... currently starting the two day process of making pierogi!

Got most of my shopping done in plenty of time but still don't know wtf to get my step mom that I see a half dozen times a year.

but it takes almost all forms of media cards. my dad has a shitload of cards for his digicam, so he can just throw a 1GB into this frame and it's good to go.

i'm surprised how sold out these things are everywhere though....probably the first christmas that they're sold at reasonable prices and nobody has them yet.

I pretty much all done, just need to pick up some goodies and finally start some baking :D

this is the first winter/christmas in 6 or 7 years that I haven't worked retail...

for the filling to taste better the potatoes should be cooked and mashed and let to sit to cool for a day.

they are cooling... I will finish tomorrow afternoon.
