not necessarily, you have to look after yourself first sometimes.

we've all had good friends in our life that we lose touch with, I dont care about em any less its just that we all have to do our own thing and in the future we'll be able to see each other more often.

I've made some really great friends over the years, but at this particular time in my life they just are not top priority to plan my life around.

this doesn't mean I don't love them or don't think about them, but in order to grow into the man I want to be- my friends are going to see less and less of me for the next ten years or so.

A great friend should be understanding of this!

Times like this become a good time to build identity I find. Try a bunch of new things and meet new people along the way. Friends will come back and it'll be fun & exciting to introduce them to the new shit you've gotten into since they disappeared.
