i have some stuff on it and started to learn once, but haven't stuck to it yet. it's an entirely different way of reading and it's difficult to adjust. it's in phases, so you'll flip through the book once and let your subconscious take it in and then go back through it again and speed read it to trigger the information you read. it's also a bit outdated and i haven't found anything that makes adjustments for electronic books yet.

it's been around for more than a few years, though, and some people swear by it. however, here are some people who think its a scam: All about Photoreading http://ntrs.nasa.gov/archive/nasa/ca...2000009345.pdf |

yeah to be honest, i didn't read the blog until after i posted it... and the only sources he uses are wikipedia and the pdf i had already come across.
then he says things like, "I practiced the system for months expecting to learn languages while flying to foreign countries, memorize the dictionary, and earn fantastic grades with no effort. Instead, I experienced a dark and depressing period in my life." wtf does photoreading have to do with him being depressed? lol. anyway, to each their own. let me know if it actually works for you. |
