Okay, I got bad Karma from you so I'll assume you don't agree with my position. I worked in a bar for three years. I paid my rent and school through tips. I couldn't have survived without tips. Getting stiffed sucked when I wasn't doing anything wrong.
But expecting to get tipped no matter what you do wrong is insane. When I provided shitty service (ignoring someone, fucking up their order constantly etc...) I didn't stand there with my hand out looking for money. I fucked up. I didn't get tipped. I accepted that a tip is paid for me providing good service, and if I was providing shitty service I didn't deserve that money.
Expecting
extra money no matter what is the beginning of a terrible work ethic.
And just for your information, I tip really damn good at the bars after what I've gone through. 35% generally.
