haha when i got my new laptop, did the same thing

You know the little icon at the bottom of your screen that looks like a keyboard? Like... probably around the bottom right corner where the time usually is (well at least in my case). If you click on that, you'll probably find that it's set on "Canadian French", change it back to US and presto.

Then again, I could totally be talking out of my ass and just giving you info that doesn't relate to your computer, and only mine.

Sorry, I'm so unsavvy... I just know this works for me.

I keep having this problem too.. I just reboot my computer and everything's fine. I'm sure there's another way to do it, but this seems to work for me. :)
