i heard about the no license range and i want to go check it out with my friend, because he doesnt have a license. i got my license late last year but havent got around to purchasing a gun or rifle yet. one brand that sticks out for me is the sig.

I went to the range on sunday, and brought a level IIIA piece of kevlar. We shot it with the .460 and a 45-70 and it went thru like butter. A 12g slug didnt even go thru 5 layers. Too wide i would assume.

^ the 12g slug spreads the energy transfer over too big of an impact point. unless you've got some depleted uranium slugs. those should do the trick.

Just came back, went down with a friend. The range was empty so it easy. $95 for 4 guns + a desert eagle between the two of us, 4 boxes of ammo, both with ipods listening to Pendulum.
