i enjoy watching wrc as well but i wouldnt say it's more entertaining. there's a lot more strategy involved in the 500, like mixing chess and racing.

Driving around in a big circle for 500 laps? Watch the first lap, go rub a few out, catch the crash highlights and see who won. That's pretty much the entire event.

i used to hate nascar with a passion, but i started to watch it only 2 years ago and in that time ive deffinitely come to understad what the whole deal is.
any guesses on top 5?

i think hendrick is going to have a strong top 5/10. junior, gordon and johnson all have a good shot at the top 5, probably in that order. if stewart wasnt in a toyota i'd pick him for top 5 as well but i'm not so sure about that platform. kahne has the potential to place pretty high in the standings but i dont think he has what it takes to win.

disappointed in gordon having to drop out :(
junior and johnson still have a chance if they can come together and push each other around the track, along with mears.
stewarts 20 is holding his own, im surprised his toyota is holding up so well. im also surprised that gordon said the toyota's are the fastest cars out there today.
