definitely too many places to count. born in toronto. lived around ontario in ottawa, niagara falls, but mostly downtown t-dot. and quebec (gatineau, hull, montreal). and have lived all over bc (including the far north rupert, kitimat, terrace etc) Van Isle, and Van City sporadically over the years. been smak dab downtown for a few years now..............

Heh. Kerguelen is more Aleutian than Baffin. Place fascinates me though.

Yes bebu, I moved in on the weekend! Haro and Bidwell. I'm loving it (aside from the construction happening across from my friggen room at 7am =/ ) and i'm sure you'd approve as well.

Kerguelen is waaaaaay south of the Aleutians though? Like just north of the South Pole from what I can tell.

I meant in terms of climate: barren, basaltic, rain-weather-beaten, but also ice-free year round on the coastline.

Fun Fact: Kerguelen's antipode (global opposite point) is relatively nearby (roughly where Alberta, Saskatchewan, and the US border meets).

I went back and forth between Carnarvon and Perth for about 5 months. I loved it. Great beaches, great pubs, perfect weather, suprisingly multicultural, great location for awesome day/weekend snorkelling and photography trips...ahhhhhh. I miss Western Australia. It does have the downside of being full of Australians (ha. ha.) but I strongly recommend it.

i've been living in the west end for 3 years now... who knows, will i ever leave vancouver? me bets ($$#$$) that i would freeze / boil if i went to a less temperate climate :(
