Chickens are also normally kept at about 4 degrees when you put them in the microwave (less if you're thawing). Babies start around 37 degrees.

Think about it, man. Microwaves generally cook stuff faster than pre-heated ovens, right? How long do you think it would take to generate third-degree burns in a pre-heated oven?

The microwaves pass through the object but it still cooks from the outside in. Microwaves work much more efficiently on liquids (of which we have quite a bit of in our body) than sugars and fatty stuff.

Did I get this one right?
