dairy differences
i love most goat milk and sheep milk cheese, sheep feta is something that will change your idea of what feta is. and most other cheeses just taste better if they're made of goat milk, it's got a more pronounced and sharp taste.
but what about the other dairy products i love so much? like cottage cheese, sour cream, yogurt or just whole milk? is goat just superior? i can't say. not until i try every one of my favorite dairy delights made out of goat milk. but i suspect everything except whole milk will be yummy. sheep milk yogurt would be pretty good. any personal experience with this area? |

Yeah oddly milk tastes differently in different countries too. I don't know if it's just because the standard milk in Japan is 3.5% M.F. but it sure tastes different. I actually think it tastes better.
Anyhow, mascarpone cheese is fatty goodness. Excellent for a nice home-made tiramisu cake. |
