you're right..

Yeah.. out of all the things under the water, I'm most freaked out from the octopus. The whole tenticle "beak" thing scares the shit out of me.
Like if it pulls my primary out and I cant reach my secondary (which funnily enough is called an octopus) then im dead!

The sites everyone likes to go to are basically giant walls, with little cracks where octopus hide. The site we're trying to hit on Sunday is known for their octopus (the big ones) so hopefully, if i see one I can get over my fear. I figure as long as I'm not poking i wont get attacked, there's little to no cases of them attacking divers unless provoked, squid on the other hand... never going night diving in the tropics!

Yeah dude.. The aquarium takes advanced divers to clean the tanks. Would be a rad expirience.
Then off to the georgia aquarium for the same shit, the largest aquarium in the world, houses 3 whale sharks and a huge amount of other fish, sharks, cods, rays. It's like heaven for me. They even have hammerhead sharks.

He used to wrestle it in the tank, this was way back when at the Vancouver Aquarium while doing his graduate work at UBC and Cornell.

He ended up taking a position as the head of Zoology for the University of Washington.

I was about to criticize cause the octopus is in a real small tank now a days. Probably with good reason.

I've been on 20 dives. all at whytecliff, trying to go to porteau on Sunday.

If you want to go now...

you totally need a dry suit, even in summer time there's dry suits all over the place. I dont think I could ever dive in cold water in a wet suit again.
Wet suit = warm water


if you go for a refresher course (my shop offers one) you can pay to up to dry suit.
