the O G japanese places are [gyoza king, kintaro, etc].
kintaro has a "nicer" place a block or two north bound that's open. a bit pricier.
on the same block but on the robson side, there's a newer ramen place. dunno how it tastes though.

I go there sometimes if Kintaro is too busy, they have a wider variety of broths and soup options (ie. chicken) but it's just not the same as Kintaro.

i had pho for breakfeast today, right after i worked out they didn't even look at me weird for stinking that place up.

p.s. i love fish sauce, id drink that shit like water though im pretty sure that would kill me.
