2am infomercials - i caved

The other night i was up having a couple beverages, not paying attention to what was on, while i was on the computer. After 1am it usually goes to televangecal bullshit about buying mana bread and getting cheques from god. My ears perked up when something about kitchen knives came on. ( i like to cook,well, eat) anyway. I caved and bought a set, not expecting a ton, but hope they're not total garbage.

though to be honest, it wasn't the tv ad that got me. my friend was telling me that her and her friend (my ex) decided to get a couple because they were 2 for 1. i thought that was pretty hot, because at the time, i thought the magic bullet sounded kinda like a vibrator.

at 2 am I watch these every once in a while and I buy this stuff too. im guilty of the Magic Bullet (works like a charm), those Showcase 5 Star knives (crap after the first month, no need to sharpen, my ass), the Rotisserie (works like a charm). I try not to watch these any more, at that time of night/morning, you can sell me anything.

I even bought some stuff off radio infomercials (damn purity products), but their first orders are always free. just pay shipping and handling.

I used to watch infomercials in high school. I have no clue why - i guess just that I was a nightowl and they're the only things to occupy your mind with short of softcore cable porn (The Hitchhiker got me through puberty, yo). But I never felt prone to actually buy the things being advertised.

i love the magic bullet! (they have a vibrator by the same name..)
it was given to me, but ive always wanted to buy infomercial stuff...

I use it alot, since i only need to make smoothies for one or two people at a time. its great. less to wash.
i dont use my blender anymore!
