Blackberry Bold in Canada?
I read that Rogers was going to be the first carrier to offer the BB9000. But that was set for July and nothings happened. Maybe they're waiting for the hype of the iphone3G to die down?

I'm with Telus and also oddly surprised that they haven't launched it to rival the iphone. It looks friggin sweet.

the release date has been pushed back 3 times so far. The "new" release date in canada is supposed to be aug 18th. I got 2 on hold the day they arrive.

They released them in Germany already so maybe you'll be able to order an unlocked one online soon.

Blackberry is usually pretty good about getting their CDMA phones out shortly after the GSM version, or both CDMA & GSM versions come out simultaneously. Given that the iPhone is GSM on both Canadian and US networks I wouldn't be surprised to see Blackberry launch the CDMA version of the Bold ASAP so it can monopolize the the CDMA smartphone market without competition from Apple.

Anybody know how to use the berry as a modem? I've seen it done but i was a burnout at the time....
