job interview tips
without saying too much, i have the interview of my life on monday. it is my second one. the feedback i got was that i sat as if i was closed off.
i am well endowed and try not to do anything to accentuate that. i tend to sit with my hands folded in my lap to avoid drawing attention to the girls. apparently though this is poor body language. does anyone have any solid tips on interviewing skills and what not to do |

most interviews will ask you behaivoral questions that start off with 'tell me about a time when you...'
the best way to answer these types of questions is using the S.T.A.R.S. approach - Situation Task Actions Results Success often people will address these types of questions by saying 'well we had this problem and we did this' but doesn't say what successes they have accomplished as a result of being in this situation and coming out on top. Behaivoral questions can be tough to answer, so start thinking about all of the situations where you have really gone above and beyond in your work history and write them out in the S.T.A.R.S format so that you have a rough idea of what you may talk about if asked. Preparation is good, but don't go in sounding too rehearsed. Someone I know went to an interview and they seemed too rehearsed, so the interviewer threw them off by asking them a completely random question 'if you were a tree, which one would you be'... |

If the girls are a problem, can you hide them away in a nice sweater or something? Not sure what interview clothes are for women though.
Also, don't forget eye contact, fresh breath and to be scent free, you never know who is sensitive to scents. Good luck. |

If you communicate a closed body language due to concerns about your breasts, you may actually end up drawing more attention to your physical features by way of a stand-offish appearance. When you come across stand-offish, you block out the opportunity for someone to want to get to know your personally. On the other hand, if you are to focus on communicating a more open body language without concerning yourself with how your breasts appear, you may have the positive effect of shifting the interviewers' attention from your physical appearance to your positive attitude and open up the possibility of interesting the interviewer to look beyond your appearance and get to know you as a person.

Somehow I don't think Brian fits the bill of this troll, unless we're talking drunken crass Brian... in which case he is holding a martini.
Just go in there trying not to worry too much. When a person gives themself permission to relax they usually kick a lot more ass at the interview. Sometimes we psyche ourselves out by over analyzing a situation. |
