A growing number of people have started to take up a new sport which combines hiking and swimming.

'Swim-hiking' is a combination of hiking through the countryside and crossing rivers or lakes by swimming with a waterproof backpack.

better idea: wear bathing shorts, have a light t-shirt that dries easy, put on some treaded aqua socks and start running through river valleys, swimming across whenever you so please, freerunning style.

Or as I like to call it: a sunny weekend with my friends back home.
