The most recent survey on Canadian internet use puts the rate of unconnected people at 39%. That's a large number of voting public that don't use the web for their daily intake of sources.
All I'm saying is that these ads aren't directed at your everyday metropolitan person. They breed on those effected by "sensational marketing", which contrary to what you might think is a demanding percentage of the population.

Now you're just opening a whole other can of worms. Encroaching on civil liberties like that is only going to create a whole other mess to deal with.
