Uh..if she doesnt take him up on his offer..I will! And I'll put out!
Seriously though..this reminds me of "Casual Encounters" on Craigs List..Which is my new guilty pleasure. It really blows my mind. She would be silly to think he isnt expecting anything..unless he isnt expecting anything willingly.... =) |

Do they have a past? like, how long have they known eachother because if she has known him for awhile and feels she could trust him then why not do it? but if he is just some 37 year old creepy man that she doesnt know then there must be a catch and she probably shouldnt...

You know, the whole "no expectations" part is what makes this thing so creepy. Like if it was "Hey, I'll hook you up with that cash for your condo and take you to Costa Rica, and I'd like to sleep with you" or whatever, at least both parties would be clear on where things stood and she could turn him down (or not) from there, based on clear terms. The "no expectations" thing just makes you wonder wtf he's up to.
Just to throw another point of view out there, maybe he really does have no expectations. I used to know a guy (was a regular at 2 of my jobs, coffee shop & restaurant) who took a generous early retirement package and was pretty bored. Mid-50's really nice guy and also really generous. I never spent much time with him but a couple of the other girls from my work did...dinners, movies, afternoon coffee etc. These girls were all gorgeous and like 18-22 years old. He never ever even remotely tried anything or gave off a sexual vibe in the slightest. He was just rich and bored and liked the company of young pretty women. Super-nice guy. One time he drove me like 6 hours (out of his way, which meant 6 hours back for him) so I didn't have to take the greyhound. My creep radar never registered anything the whole time I knew him. So maybe this guy really doesn't expect anything in return. Also, 37 is not very old. Last edited by prozac; Oct 11, 08 at 09:51 AM. |
