That's what I read in my guide. I'll be there for a month (unless I split my time off between Bali and Thailand), so i'm sure i'll find better beaches to spend time on.
Any recommendations? I'll have to remember to bug you closer to May. |

Hornby is totally heaven (wanna go back now)...but i'd settle for a week long sunny rap show boat cruise ( maybe park on the beach)...like all my favorite artists on a big boat in the sun with big drinks...all night dance party with my favorite songs
you said anywhere so i thought i'd be really unrealistic. |

Check out the Gili Islands, about a 2 hour ferry away. The beaches were gorgeous in 2005, who knows what has changed since then though. If you are adventurous, and after a bit of a cultural experience, get off Bali. If you want sand and cocktails and ozzie's, the south of the island is ideal. |

up in the middle of the mountains on my own plot of 5 acres of land with a lake nearby and a river running thro for electricity, my little flock of sheep happliy baa'ing all around, sitting in my hotub on the back porch of my little house with my boy sipping iced tea with loads of ice.

Hmm for me the answer always will be somewhere i can feel less connected to technology and the hustle/bustle/drama of city life and more in tune with nature. That would be anywhere I suppose!
though on a day like today, i would answer 'still in bed' heh! |
