It all depends on whether you're planning one, or from a promotional point you need to build a relationship with the operators of these companies to include your destination on the tour.
If you're looking to shuttle from venue to venue yourself, say for an afterparty it's going to cost you. Graduation Vacation Packages, Reading Break Vacation Packages, Calgary Party Bus Rentals :: BustLoose.com Party Gras |

When we were underage, my sister and I tried to get into Secret (now Ginger, I think...). Little did we realize that we had walked in on a university Halloween Crawl, and had no problem instantly mingling with the crowd, although we were getting frequent friendly "What's your costume?" questions. The Crawl soon left, however, and we were left behind in a rather empty club playing Daft Punk (of all things). Surprisingly, we weren't asked to leave, and stayed out the whole night as the club filled in with a typical hip-hop crowd.
Oh, wait, what was the question? Ah, right. Yeah, Crawls exist. I see postings for them all the time at campuses. |

Best pub crawls are the spontaneous ones w/ just a few people (2 - 8-ish).
There's lots of neat-o li'l hideaway-kinda cocktail lounges around town that are fun to pop in and out of. Or, did you mean JUST "pub"? In that case, I gotta say that Johnny Fox's is _THE_ most typical UK/Irish pub in town! Doolin's has a good beer selection, but, too Whistler-style pre-fab in the decor-dept. Ceilih's is even worse! Same ol' Skybar, but, w' a lil more shit on the walls. That place on the corner of Robson and Granville (can NEVER remember it's name!) isn't all that great, but, the beer selection makes it worth a visit during a crawl. More of a bar than a pub, but, I'd squeeze in Morrisey. Cambie is a must. Probably the starter. While you're down there, hit up Lamplighter, as long as they're not doing cover charge. In fact, lemme know when you're doing this, dammit! I'd love to join! Frosty (hasn't crawled for a while) |

A friend of mine and I have done the Rock Crawl a few times (White Rock). I think we're getting blacklisted, though, as we tend to leave quite the, er, impression as the night wears on.
I dunno if I'd have the courage to do the Scuzz Crawl (eastside). |
