I'd suggest not leasing anything... You should just wait till you have the money to just buy it outright..
Sometimes leasing is realistic though, like if you are leasing a truck for a business, and are going to write off the expense as a business related cost.. or business equipment etc... but i wouldn't lease something like decks... that's just me though... p.s.. my other side says fuck it and just buy it if you want it that bad |

ive had 12s for a long time, switching to cd's now,
anyways donkey i sort of see it as a business move, since i plan on eventually playing out with them. but yeah..i really wanted to know if anyones done it before and usually what are the terms they have to pay it up by and stuff like that..6 months or 12 ? etc.. |

to answer your question (since nobody else has so far...) Tom Lee takes 25% down on financed purchases, with the remainder to be paid in 12 monthly installments. I've think L&M has a slightly better deal, but since they refuse to quote prices over the phone i decided to go with Tom Lee.

On the topic of tom lee, does anyone know how to actually get anything ordered by them?
I left my name, number, and order with 3-4 different people over a period of 6 months. Not to mention the last 3 people I explained that I never heard back from the first 1 and they seem to have shaked their head as if they were going to do something about it. Its been almost a year now and ive finally had to contact the company that makes the product its self. |

^Ive been trying to order a replacement cord for my AKG 181 headphones. Surprisingly enough, I bought them at Tom Lee primarily based on the fact that the salesman said it wouldn't be a problem to order one.
EK 500 S Ive got in contact with AKG, but have not found out if they can actually sell me one? If you could help me out that would be great, because my current cord could go any day now. |

I see why someone would buy from Craigslist to save money, but some people dont want to deal with the problems that can arise with "almost new" equipment.
There is no warranty if the equipment malfunctions, nor is there anyone to look to if there are any issues with what you buy. Craigslist sellers dont typically take returns. If anyone is interested I would be more than happy to see what my leasing company would be able to do for you. We do not require 25% down like Tom Lee's financing does. For more information send me an email and let me know what you are looking to get. [email protected] ALL MEDIA CAPITAL, INCORPORATED Equipment Lease Financing Good luck no matter what you do |

I suggest.. SHUT UP DONKEY! I'm leasing a CDJ 700 from Tom Lee.. my credit wasnt that good so the deck was $700 and change. If i had excellent credit it would've been $250.. I had to pay 4. Now they're taking out $40 per month on the 15th automatically. Which rocks. |
