P.S. I believe most drugs are fairly easy to synthesize on a large scale if one does not need to worry about hiding it.

do you support providing the health care that people require or does it have to pass or moral test first?
for example if junkies don't deserve the health care they need then what about other criminals? should drunk drivers be left to die when they crash their cars? or should gangsters be refused help when they come to the hospital with a gun shot wound?
or more similarly to heroin addicts what about diabetics? sure those born diabetic should be provided insulin. but adult onset diabetes is largely due to a poor diet and lack of exercise. and after all if we're talking morals being slothful and gluttonous are sinful and thus immoral. so should adult onset diabetics be denied the health care they need?
the reality is that no one I know supports people using Heroin or thinks it's morally acceptable. however most people would rather stop the spread of disease and stop people from dieing in mass in the streets. what moral values do you have that you would rather see people die in the streets than provide the health care that will keep them alive?
