okay guys slow down a little and let me ask you all, who here understands the treaty process and would like to take a run at briefly explaining it. clearly based on what I've read so far there is a gross misunderstanding of the historical facts that have gotten us to where we are. Alex perhaps you'd care to share with us what your understanding of this is. also can we please be spared charming anecdotes from your personal friends and keep to the big picture here?

Great, I hope they do. I also hope our federal government has some stones, and stands up to these rebels, sending in the military and crushing their movement. Quebec Provincial Police have proven they aren't racist in the past by arresting native protesters for the crimes they commit. Most other province's have appeased criminal activities of native groups(I really wonder what the outcome would be if a group of white males set up a road block and assaulted innocent citizens to protest an issue)

old news you big dummy, the natives in quebec always said that they would lay claim to most of guebec if they seperated. they did that even before the last referendum.

an anti seperatist like you should delight in this, as the natives have a far stronger consititutional claim to quebec then the one that quebec seperatists have to suceed from canada.


you will never understand this because you know nothing about the judicial system in this country or its history( i mean law in canada, not history itself but im pretty sure you dont know much about that either)
