not exactly sure...

Mixed reviews on this next one. Straight outta Surrey is Russell's lemon ale. It's a hefeweisen infused with "lemon essence".... i guess its supposed to be like that bud lite lime bull shit (which i have yet to try and probably never will) But I decided to try this one purely based on wanting to try something like bud lite lime without actually buying that, so this was it.

Tastes like a corona with a lemon in it but hasn't lost its fizz due to a buoyant citrus wedge, and has more way more body. While you ponder whether you actually like what you're tasting, it's remarkably refreshing.

Hey I guess its not for everyone, but you cant beat the price!

But listen ditch the stella for once and try a chzechvar! google that shit. only found in respectable beer stores and only comes in single bottles. it'll have you thinkin'... whos stella? if they cary that, they probably carry baron, aslo from czech rep.

not saying stella sucks, but no one drinks that shit in belgium or in europe. ppl only drink it here cause it has exellent marketing and its decent.

Co fucking signed. Czechvar (called "Budvar" in Czech but they ran into licensing problems in North America because there's already a company that has "Bud" trademarked) is glorious, probably my fav import these days. I basically go for stella if I can't find anything else I like. Grolsch is kinda okay but I have similar issues to it as I do to Stella.

Also:
I've heard too many stories about the chzechvar, even to the point of peeps saying that bud tried to copy their recipe, but in actuality it was just a TM thing. Bud doesn't come even taste anything like chzechvar. its like carbonated piss.

Funny I just picked up a six of tallies of the bavaria only because it came in this ltd beer cooler thing that fits six tallies perfectly. just what i need for the beach. Its a good lager. nice and light.

hands down my #1 Canadian brewery is Unibroue. summer beer of choice; Apple Éphémère (or a bottle of Fin 9%), Unibroue - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (if your new try the 12x mingler, $21 at any 'large' BCL, $28 CBW)

phillips phoenix is a solid beer if you can find it (subeez, some BCL) but I've found phillips beer in general is hit or miss with other beer fans. I also rather like their grizzly blond (sp?) 9%

once in awhile Steamworks has a microbrew cherry 9% which is outstanding. gotta find them at the right time and only by the pint, legally they 'say' they can't serve it by the pitcher.
we carry phillips phoenix, but we don't have it on the shelves since it's sales weren't too great. but bars still buy it so we do have it in the warehouse, just ask someone back there to check for it.

we also carry some steamworks beers too.

I work at a private LS on the weekends. We have everything you mentioned. Unibroue is a personal fave of mine right now. The Maudite is so good! Trois pistoles is bad ass.

Also there's the Point Grey Beer & Wine cellar near my place that has a CRAZY selection of imports and crafts that may take you a year to get fully acquainted. So many imported crafts that many people have never even heard of... basically been spending some of my expendable income there.

I guess its fair to say we can start talking about imports now!

Aged in old bourbon barrels. Basically the most delicious beer in the world right now. Don't think there's another beer out there that does this. SO FIND IT AND DRINK UP!
