^probly a combo of all 3. i'm thinking maybe the site needs a bit of a format makeover to generate more interest. The free event postings is a step in the right direction.....

i'd be interested in seeing a blog about vancouver events + artists on the homepage. judging by the number of promo material that djs submit to the site i'm sure it wouldn't be a huge undertaking to rustle up good stuff to post on a weekly basis.

Either way this place definitely needs to find a way to attract a new audience as well as keep it's current members interested.

Ever since the last fnk downtime a while back and the new "old" version, the site has been slow in terms of traffic... Maybe the downtime just helped remind people there are other things to do.

Me, on the other hand, I have lots of downtime at work so I'm constantly on the net... YAY for BOINGO hotspots. Totally worth $12/month... wireless across Canada and most airports:)
