a good friend of mine died
this is really affecting me
 for the last couple years we fell outta touch. at the funeral his sister read aloud his letter that he sent to his family from rehab and it was heart wrenching. he said he was lost for all these years, but was trying to find his way back. I just wish he told me that.

Sorry for ur loss wum. Dealing with people that are themselves dealing with addiction is rough. It would have taken him a lot to tell you how he felt. Probably took a lot to write that letter as well. At the end of the day, he accepted his addiction and to have died with that acceptance then he at least died with some dignity. And it was the Japanese that bombed Pearl Harbour. Sorry, couldn't resist.

What do you mean? The Allies totally marched on Tokyo and dropped the Atom Bombs on Hamburg and Dresden.
