Exchange Student Programs

I'm basically free from Feb-Sept 2002, and I really don't want to bum around Vancouver.

I NEED TO GET AWAAAAAAAAAAY!!!

I'm thinking that I want to take part in an exchange student program, but I have the slightest clue as to where to start looking.

My cousin took part in one before and he said to make sure that the program is a reputable one, in case anything happens to you while you're away.

Soooo, any suggestions?

erica.. i'm going on one this summer. It's a government organized one... and it was al free! :D

You should go check out the government websites. they have a lot of oppurtunites for teens. Like the bursary programs where you stay at a university or wutever.... and they pay for all the costs of transportation and everything!! :D

the one I'm on is a summer job exchange. It's for a month and a half. They pay for my train ride, airplane ride, i stay at an exchange student's home... They pay me for the job I'm going to have there... (though minimum wage)and they have lots of organized activiites..
