Losing the magic..

Does anyone remember their very first party?!? the feeling of antisipation? Being your first party, you don't know what to expect. You are engulfed with lights and sounds that give you that magical feeling. Oh how I miss those days...

Now, I'm not implying that i'm oldschool or bitter and jaded. I just miss the magic of it all. Whether it was a big massive party or smaller party, It was that first experience which brough you into this scene. meh :/ don't mind my useless ranting...

now it's like "party tonite,cool..."
i guess cuz there is nothing new about anymore is why we're not as excited as when we were newbies...but im still having fun so in the end, isnt that all that really matters?

I totally miss that feeling u got when u walk into the room and saw all the lights, ppl dancing ...... and now it is like " oh yeah , party? sure". I have gotten tired of the scene and after talking to some of my other friends they too have started to get bored w/ it. I guess since we all know what to expect when we go to a party, we have lost that little bit of excitement that we once had . Yeah i do get excited but not as much i as i use too . I will always remember my first party, it is still my best , it was so small and i meet so many ppl .... oh memories.

maybe if you're bored, you should take a break from partying!
If you go every week, then it will get boring pretty fast. I have been on a short break (about 2 weekends since my last party), I am totally missing the scene right now, and I know I will have a blast at my next one! If i don't end up going to Nasty, I think that I won't bother going until Magic Mountain 5. I want to mark my return with a plastic fantstic party!

So if you're bored then take a break, chances are you need one.

i dunno, i think my second party was more exciting... (mmmm Apex...) but i do remember being all hyped and scared at the same time for my first... i had wanted to go for a few years before that and i ended up getting somebody else's ticket the day of. he he, i was worried that i'd fall asleep in a corner and then i'd wake up in an icy bathtub with my kidneys missing... :003:

i don't get as excited as i used to before parties but when i'm there i still get that wonderful tingly magic feeling in my tummy...

i know what your saying 105%. It's like "oh, another party. ok..." when it used to be like "party party party party!!!". i was kinda getting bored, especially with plaza cuz its like the same party every time. I jsut took a nice break for just about 2 months (actually a month and 3 weeks) and my big comeback special was sunkissed. i was so pumped all weekand I hadn't been exicted about a party in a long time!

so yeah, i recomment taking a good break now and again. it helps!

my first party was 2nasty and even though it rained I thought it was so fuckin sweet...I could see how parties get kinda of boring if u went every week....however....at least you can look forward to the outdoor parties....

Oh yeah, I'm still a newbie, but partying isn't what it used to be. I've been here for about 8 months now. But going to a party isn't as fun as it used to be. It's become almost like a routine. I remember when I didn't know anything about parties. I still don't know everything, of course, but it's so much harder to discover things nowadays.

well.. my first party..well ... all night one anywayz..i was kinda excited?? i mean i had gone to buncha smaller ones before.. but then i dunno.. i kinda miss the excitement and all (even tho meeh and my friend always get hyper anywayz..hehe) but i think i like it the way it is now.. now that i've been partying for a while y'know?? i mean my first party.. it wasj ust like okie.. i didn't know to much bout it all and i was pretty shy and i didn't dance that much.. and ya.. i think now i have more fun going crazy and what not cuz i know more so what to expect y'know?? and i dance more now.. =P

heh my first was a small one, Milk. I was sober... i guess i got a "natural high" cause i danced quite a bit. At first i was shy then i just thought "ah.. fuck it... just dance like no one is watching". And so i did, i looked like a dork.. haha. I talk to friends now about it and they say i dance A LOT better now. haha ^^. Most memorable party was OD2 where i poped for the first time. I lost my $200 Diesel jacket there.... *if i didnt pop then i prolly would still have my jacket!! grrrrrrr >_<

I was sorta dragged out to my first party, and didn't really like it, was sorta intimidated by the drag queens, but uh yeah, sorta was an aquired taste I guess, like I didn't love it straight away, but started liking it later on when I went again...
Im sorta on an extended break and miss partying again... probably because I work all weekend and don't really go out much. But I don't think this summer is gonna be a summer full of partying to me, I can't make Magic Mountain, the only party I was really anticipating... and have to work the day of and after liquified 2. Oh well.

I'm excited for every party, because I know that no two are ever the same, and if they look to be that way then make them different! Antics, anyone? If it starts to get boring, try going to different styles of parties. Ugh, I want to go partying. :(

I remember my first party...Wicked (2000). I went with my friend Ed, and we lined up in the FREEZING cold outside of the Colliseum. I remember the rush, the queezy feeling of anticipation I had in my stomach, not knowing what to expect, afraid that I'd lose my friend in the party...

Once we got in, I remember looking around thinking "Oh, so THIS is a rave. Hmmmmm..." Then the place started to fill up, everyone started to dance, and I popped my first tab of E called Bald Head. It started to kick in, my friend had a really bad trip, so I was taking care of him. He told me he felt fine, and to go off and dance, so I did...roamed around the entire floor, dancing with my glowsticks, having the time of my life!!

I met these two guys, Nelson and JP, and I still keep in touch with them. It was weird...at Slinky, I was sitting up in the theater room of Plaza, and I looked over to my right (after sitting there for at least 15 minutes), and both of them were sitting right next to me!! I also met my friends Mike, Tanya, and Alex, but I partied most with Mike. I met them again at Phat Farm, and that's when me and Alex hooked up.

Wow, I too really miss the feeling of my very first party...or even my first few. Even if I take a really long break, I don't think it'll ever feel the same, but I'm sure it'll help.

but to me that only parties that actualy feel the same as when u start partying is the small ones for some reason... i dunno why but it just is... the small parties have a bigger vibe and and i dunno just other small stuff...

My first party was awsome! It was at Mitchel Island, and it was on April 8th, last year......I had an amazing time. I still remember after that too...Getting all dressed up in my tigger ears and tail, or some other crazy outfit, and not being able to sleep the night befor a party, because I was too exighted.......I still totally love parties, which explains why I still go.

I think that we are all just used to going to a party every weekend, (or even every uther weekend) , and we are just used to them....and some of us cant feel it any more; But, if we took a break for like a month or so.....we'd go back, and have a good, amazing time!

I went to super sonic adventures, and I had a great time...one of my favorite parties! But maybe that was because everything that night had worked out PERFECTLY!....So I was thinking...If youre in a good mood before a party, and have a good mind set, then you have an awsome time, you help create a good vibe, and you definitelly, definitelly feel the magic.:027: :027: :027:
