Hyper-feminine comic book/video game characters
Stabby, ninja boy etc.. hopefully you can help me with this.
I don't exactly know where to look, but I need an inspiration/research image to help me base a peice on. I'm doing my concentration peices in art careers, and my topic is Women's image in the media and art, so i want to include a hyper feminine comic book or video game character as one of the peices. I want something not so Lara Croft, but something more along the lines of big ass guns, rubber catsuits, black hair.. real attitude etc. I know I saw a movie on tv once.. I forget what it was called but the main character was just that.. black hair, more muscly than lara, big boots etc.. kicked harsh ass. She was on the search for a man/monster that had wiped out her whole planet and all of her people.. if that helps. Anyways, any links or pictures would help!

realistic, but big boobs and skinny waists. right. i'll get right on that. that's what comic books are about, realistic potrayals of people who just happen to wear costumes and have access to automatic weapons.
go rent barb wire or something.

You know, it isn't hard to find a comic book where a female character is portrayed in a way that you described.... the easiest thing for you to do is to go to a comic store (there are plenty in this fine city) and look around to see if anything catches your eye.
Heavy Metal has a lot of big breasted bad ass girls with guns....

Yah I've seen alot of work in heavy metal that is what I'm talking about. I basically have th picture in my head its just I can't just draw things from my head very often and have them look good.. I should probably just find a picture of the female form in the pose i'm thinking of.. then i can add the catsuit and large breasts :P If the only comic book store I know of around here still exists I'll check it out too.

Faye is by far more bad ass than any of the other girls you'll find in the comic books you're looking for. Infact, she is one of the only animated girls I can think of that live up to my female bad ass muthafucka expectations.
What it basically sounds like you want is a waif girl with big breasts that happens to be carrying a gun... WELCOME TO OOGLES AND OOGLES OF REALLY HORRIBLY WRITTEN COMICS. I typed in 'mindless big breasted comic heroine with a gun' but nothing came up :( Then again, you are only looking for an image/link of these girls... Are you drawing your own character, or using someone elses... or better yet, taking designs from all the characters? Look in the phone book under comics, you'll find plenty of comic book stores there.

no no no I wasn't biotching at edit out! I wasn't even really bitching actually.. Werdy boy insulted my intelligence by the whole realistic- non realistic thing so I told him i'm not an idiot.. I know something with huge tits and a tiny waist was not realistic... but I needed something more "realistic" more lifelike than what he posted.. I didnt even see edit outs post untill after actually..
And thank you for posting those, but its still not exactly what I'm looking for hun! I wasn't bitching at you I swear!!! And no.. i don't want her to be a waif.. if I did I'd grab something like lara croft or something. i want something more bad ass than that. And yes.. I'm not in favour of these large breasted, tiny waist women.. trust me. I'm trying to portray the stereotypical images of women in most comics/video games. Except the girl i have in mind is a little more kick ass than just some skinny chick with huge tits. And yes.. I have a character in my head.. I just explained why i need the picture. I can't draw things just right out of my head very often, at least something that detailed. I think i'm going to try anyways, and as I said before maybe find a picture of a women in the pose I have in mind.. then make her into what I have in my head... add the big tits, big boots and big ass gun. I just need a basica layout of the body/pose so I can work from there. I'm not just going to copy the character.. but I wouldn't mind some pictures like what I'm thinking of for any ideas etc. thanks for the help and i wasn't bitching at edit out!! I wouldn't just attack him like that. Thats actually alot closer to what I want. Oh and stabby.. the woman I have in mind is not "mindless".. I want to her to seem very smart and tough, because i'm picky about what I draw and I don't just want to do some bimbo.. BUT i still want to portray the sterotypical hyperfeminine character.. :P actually.. she's almost to the point where's she's masculine as well, but I don't want anything with huge, disgusting muscles.. grr I can't find my heavy metal comics..
anyways, thanks for the help guys (and girl) I think i'm going to go on a hunt for my heavy metals again.. and maybe check out a comic book store. Here's basically what I was looking for it's just a small picture and not the best shot.

I'm sorry to say but most female characters with big breasts, a weapon and looking 'bad ass' are mindless. Infact, most the comics with such girls in it, are mindless and stupid. You would think they would fight evil or whatnot in something less skimpy ;], but no, evil requires you to dress like a ho to be able to fight it properly... oh yeah, and the appeal of men ;]

EXACTLY.. that's the reason i'm doing this as part of my "women's image in art and the media" concentration.
You either have to be a masculine female to kick ass (and they still have huge tits and skimpy outfits) or... well. have huge tits and a nice ass. I think thats bullshit and thats why i'm using it as part of my concentration. You can't be a femal comic book hero without having a few of the above stated characteristics. I guess its the same with males though, huge muscly men satisfy their fantasies (they just aren't sexual :P). Anyways.. the movie I saw had a extremely smart female character in it. Yes she wore a catsuit, but she kicked anyones ass that mentioned how good she looked in it.

thanks alot! but I've found what I needed.. I went and picked up a heavy metal and tomb raider comic. Lara's "buffer' than I thought. All I really saw of her was the video game and movie.. I think i'm only using her for the pose though.. The chicks in heavy metal are more what I'm looking for.
