wow i can surprisingly read that.. get the single character with the thinner font.
made of steal sounds kinda weird just to let you know steal = "gong" in chinese i have to agree with stabby.. not that they dont know what it means.. its just weird to see myself having latin/french across my back. im actually thinkin about gettin my chinese symbol done... then again..no thats not happening. |

aesthetically.. i'd say go with the single symbol. Especially considering the place of the tattoo, it'll be more symmetrical and visually pleasing.
At least to people like me who are super picky about the elements and principles of design. Last edited by MistressSpankME; Jan 27, 03 at 08:08 PM. |

Why don't you go to Chinatown and get a calligrapher to stroke your name onto a piece of paper with a proper ink brush and you have that traced on by the tattoo artist?
This way you get the proper brush strokes and it looks better than the 'clean' computerized font. I had to trace my father's hardwriting and blow it up on a computer program so an engraver could put his name onto my watchcase. Sorry the picture isn't too clear. |
