Probably the best meal I've had in a long time. Nice layout, impressive wine menu (if your into that sort of thing) excellent service. Thought I'd recommend it to any steak lovers =)

and the wine menu at gotham actually sucks. way over priced and much to central selection.

the only thing good there was the lobster. and it wasn't the best in the city at all.

Gothams isn't bad. Nice martini bar and lounge though.

I'm going to try Morton's this weekend as it is supposed to be better.

I found Kobe overrated and the portions of food quite small.

I tried a similar teppanyaki place in Minneapolis and they served twice as much food and included lobster, crab and tiger prawns in their grand meal and the quality was incredible.

kobe is tasty, but you're paying for the name. it's all suburb daypasses, birthday parties and tourists.
